Resident Evil: Bunny

Overview

A spinoff of the EMP Music Video series, these are the original 2004 short films that were the first narrative product of Digital Era Entertainment!

While the original RE:Bunny short and the original rough cut of RE:Bunny 2 have been kept offline due to their overall crudeness/lack of permissions given to post, the public release of RE:Bunny 2 (which is merged with RE:Bunny 3 as the 2013 release “Resident Evil: Bunny – The Terminus Saga”) was shared for public viewing as the works in that form can still tell the entire story. Despite this, stray elements remain in the video from parts that were (not very carefully) covered over to compensate for the revisions to the project to allow for a public release.

Resident Evil Bunny 2: Otaku Outbreak

Months following the events of the original, DJ Maniac of EMP (Mario Bueno) is visiting his girlfriend Linda Brighton (originally played by Laura Ortiz; still seen in pictures in the compilations) when The Bunny attacks them at her apartment. Following a chase to lure it away, he’s rendered unconscious, flashing back to how he and Linda met while he was working as a courier following his initial discharge.

Finding her missing when he wakes up, the days pass and he finally calls in help from DJ Greco (Paris Hatzigiannis) and DJ Blacknight (Emmanuel Polanco), who bring a disk that, as we see in another flashback to their final mission as an active unit, holds the key to who might have taken her away. The Bakerman (John H. Baker) contacts them by email with word from their former Director, a man named Thompson, with word that a new outbreak has occurred, one far worse than the previous one. Linda’s fate is at stake, so Maniac begrudgingly accepts the mission along with the team, and they prepare for battle as the original cut of the film cones to a close…

Resident Evil Bunny 3: Terminus

Picking up right after REB2, DJ Maniac of EMP (Mario Bueno) wakes up outside of the mansion where Linda is being held by the one responsible for everything: Dr. Erik Gregory, her older brother and the former medical adviser for the EMP Unit who was secretly a black market bioweapons dealer. With Greco and Blacknight down for the count after the previous film’s finale, it’s down to The Bakerman (John H. Baker) and Maniac once again…

The two storm the compound to find Linda and end Gregory’s madness once and for all…but not before tangling with copies of The Bunny and the ultimate bioweapon: Terminus (Paris Hatzigiannis)!
